Replacement Cutters - for LBG-100

ARP Thread Chasers cleans threaded areas before final engine assembly.  These are cleaning taps only & will not cut threads.  Regular taps will damage threaded holes by removing too much material.  The set of 5 threads chasers are USS coarse in 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16 & 1/2. A must for any engine builder

Piston Groove Checker is a fine tuned jeweled dial indicator with hardened thin ball tip to slide inside ring groove to check positive & negative piston ring groove tilt 90° to the piston skirt.  This is an invaluable tool when building precision racing engines for maximum power, torque & longevity. Comes with wrist pin mandrel size of choice; piston fixture; adjustable dial indicator stand.  The procedure is measured in minutes, not degrees.  Remember, 60 minutes is 1° & 15 minutes negative piston ring groove tilt equals a loss of over 20 HP!  Don’t assume your pistons are correct, check them.  A precision ground machinist granite table is needed for this accurate tool to read correctly.  For Chevy SB(.927) & BB(.990), Ford SB(.812), & B.O.P. (.980) engines

ARP Rod Bolt Stretch Gauge  reads in .005 increments.  We use this at MTS with accurate results.  It has a heavy duty pre load spring for checking rod bolt stretch.  Do not depend on lbs of torque for final rod bolt sizing assembly, always use rod bolt stretch to obtain accurate sizing & longevity.  Use Moly Lube for torquing.  Remember “torquing” means overcoming friction, so don’t create it while torquing.  Moly lube burnishes threads, reducing friction.  Oil does not

Mechanical Valve Spring Compressor is a state of the art 1000 lb. C-clamp valve spring compressor for use in the shop or at the races.  Regardless of how stout your valve springs are this tool will break them loose & allow easy removal.  Fits 1 1/2, 1 5/8 & 1 3/4 valve springs & retainers.  No air or power source needed to operate; just a good strong arm to crank.

Mondello Pyro Putty 1400° Cast Aluminum Kit (8 oz. powder/4 oz. liquid) - High temperature ceramic and metal filled compounds are ideal for filling, building up, or repairing areas including cracks in intake and exhaust ports, manifolds, headers, mufflers, and more! We have pastes that bond tenaciously to cast aluminum, cast-iron and steel. Easy to apply, grind, machine, and clean. Both compounds can be thinned 5% with water; extra thinning needed to penetrate cracks. Porosity in runners or ports must be done with 1000K for aluminum, and 2400K for iron and steel (10-15% more thinning can be done using these products).
