Spray lightly on valve face, hold above seat by the spring seat
side of head, be sure not to smear dye as this could prevent an accurate
transfer. With the valve up
off the seat put your finger on top the valve in the center & push to
smack it down onto the seat in the head. Do not rotate the valve.
Push it up off the seat from the spring seat side of the head, grab
the stem without touching face of valve.
After removal examine for any gaps or
stippled impression on the valve face.
If there is not a complete 360° impression the valve job is not
good. Wipe it off & start
over |
