Mondello Technical School carries Standard Abrasivesฎ
cartridge rolls from 1/4 inch, to 3/4 inch O.D. Our cartridge rolls are the finest
quality available in the industry. Made of
aluminum oxide & resin bonded for faster, smoother cutting and
finish on cast iron & aluminum. They are available in
straight, half taper, and full taper styles, with all of the necessary
mandrels in 1/8 to 3/16-inch pilot size, up to 10-inch length with
1/4-inch shafts and available in 40
to120 grit. Finer grits available by special order only, in boxes of 100,
up to 400-grit. Beware of cheap imitations. Always use
cartridge rolls before final flapper stick, handy roll finish.
Available in 25 and 100 packs. Always use
straight cartridge rolls where maximum surface area needs to be polished.
The half-taper rolls work well on radius and curved areas, plus welded
areas on chassis, etc. The full-taper works very well around valve guide
bosses, and tight areas, especially on radius. The 1 short type rolls
are excellent for motorcycles, import heads, Go-kart engines, Briggs,
Yamaha, etc.
