We relocated our technical school, porting and polishing, and engine building business to Crossville, Tennessee in November of 2005, take a look at what we have been up to!

I decided to start sharing my trade secrets with you in 1996 and opened my technical classes in Paso Robles, California. After 10 years of having many students come from east of the Mississippi I decided it was time to relocate closer to my student base which also moved me into the heart of circle track country!

For over 50 years I have been building the finest state-of-the-art racing heads & engines.
I have ported and polished more types of cast iron & aluminum heads than anyone in the industry and now have a new school to teach you how to do it!

I developed, along with Lloyd Creek, wet flow testing to get the edge on the competition once again!
Whether you have a Harley-Davidson or more than 600 cubic inches in your big block Chevy; Cumberland County's Mondello Tech Center has the correct port shapes and valve seat angles for your maximum performance machine.

This new facility has everything needed to build great heads and engines. We freeze all our engines and components along with shaking to deliver a perfect product to our customers.

We have installed a Superflow NSCR SF902 computerized engine dyno cell for complete engine tuning, testing, and cam break-in. This dyno allows us to obtain 40 channels of data from the engine during testing. All engines are welcome for testing.

We have a Sunnen SV-10 hone, RMC V-30 four axis CNC block machining center,
CWT balancing and line hone equipment,
cryogenic freezing, and the Formula 2000 Low Frequency Stress Shaker Table.

We do liquid electromagnetic magnafluxing for all iron blocks, heads, crankshafts, rods, etc.
Complete connecting rod services: pin fitting, resizing large end,
correcting center-to-center length, and Installing new rod bolts.
Connecting rod hanging and aligning,
Complete cylinder head services: aluminum and cast-iron porting and polishing
Machining valve bowls for bigger valves, replaceable guides (Iron and Bronze), K-Line bronze guide liners, machining for all types of valve seals and large spring seats,
boring heads for large head bolts, sleeving push rod and bolt holes with thin-wall stainless steel sleeves, complete three to six-angle valve job, EDM broken tap, stud, and bolt removal equipment,
combustion chamber machining, C&C-ing, setting spring height, etc.,
Techline engine coating service, heat coatings, oil shedding, and lubricity products sprayed-on and baked, intake manifold surfacing.

We now have a correction fixture, designed by Ladd Fowler, that removes all twists, incorrect angles, and out-of-level conditions on all intake manifolds
Audie computerized camshaft profiler:1° increments for 360°. Measures lobe lift, duration, centerline, run out and non-concentricity.

If you're confused about your cam grind, or your engine builder is secretive about what he uses,
bring us your cam and the secrets will be revealed!

Our Rottler SFOE cylinder head and block surfacer uses CBN, carbide, diamond, and ceramic cutters.
With this machine, we can put any gasket manufacturers' RA surface finish
on any cylinder head, block, or intake manifold.
